Nurtured was made at home on a hulking hackintosh computer (RIP) and its skinny replacement, both running Logic 10. Chonus used built-in instruments, field recordings from trips through South Africa and the USA, and real instruments including a toy drum kit and the sounds of his bedroom/Bellwoods place. The cover art was made from a roll of his own film photography and photography from 1972 that was given to him at a purging of some old man's possessions.
